The trust provides travelling fellowships for research and development on all aspects of grassland and grass-related animal production, including the social, economic and environmental implications. The fellowships are primarily intended for research workers at the post-doctoral level through to mid-career. For UK applicants, the fellowship may be taken up in any other country, whilst for non-UK applicants, the fellowships must be taken up in the UK.

The trust provides awards to both individuals and organisations on all aspects of grassland and grass-related animal production, including the social, economic and environmental implications. This includes

  • Fellowships for long-term visits
  • Fellowships for short-term visits
  • Short term awards for recent graduates
  • Vacation bursary awards
  • Contribution towards publications
  • Support for invited speakers
